Sqyre Team on the App Store: the crew app that starts the job

Sqyre Team is the truck iPhone app. Home, projects, routes, and chat. Clock in, photos, scans, and Start job. Download it for every tech.
The simple idea
A crew app fails when it is the office app with smaller font. Techs need the next house, the clock, and a way to prove the work. They do not need last month’s receivables.
Sqyre Team is that truck app. Home, Projects, Routes, and Chat. Native SwiftUI. Face ID. The download is Sqyre Team on the App Store.
If you had to explain it to a new hire, you would say this. Open Routes. Clock in. Start the job. Take the photos the form asks for. Clock out. Do not build a second system in your camera roll.
A normal weekday
A window crew opens Team at 7:40am. Home shows the next action: Sofia Bennett, 127 Birch Court, Austin. Routes shows two stops with Start job on each card. The lead clocks in from the widget while the van is still in the lot.
At the house they start the job, shoot before photos, run the checklist, and collect a signature on the work authorization. The office sees the stop move without a group text that says “here.”
The second stop is late because a gate code was wrong. GPS still tells the truth on Hub. The customer gets a late text that matches the map, not a guess.
Routes is the day
My Routes is redesigned around today, late, and soon. Each stop is a card: map, name, address, Start job. Forms count sits on the day so you know the clipboard is not empty.
That is the screen a tech will actually tap. If the next pin is not on Routes, it is not on the day. A verbal add from the owner in the parking lot is how a fourth stop appears and the third house waits until dark.
Read routing and GPS tracking for the office side. Team is how the map becomes a thumb.
Clock, hours, and pay
Clock in and clock out are not honor-system texts. Team keeps the clock in step with the office. If the first save fails, clock-out still finishes. A refused “move to today” no longer jams the offline queue.
Profile holds payslips and timesheets in the shop’s currency and time zone. A tech in a second city should not see hours in the owner’s kitchen clock.
The Lock Screen clock widget is covered in the clock widget guide. Put it on the phone the first afternoon you hire someone.
Projects and the work already done
Projects lists every job assigned to that tech, with hours logged. Filters for all, active, and completed. Search by name, phone, service, or date.
This is how a helper who split a week across three properties still sees the truth. Hub has the money. Team has the time on the house.
Chat is internal
Team Chat is channels and job threads. Customers never see it. Unread badges sit on the tab. Contacts live in Chat so a crew lead can find a person without leaving the thread.
Call and text from the company line can be allowed by the office. Those buttons show or hide as soon as the permission changes. A tech should not discover a hidden personal number in their own recents.
What people get wrong
They let techs keep using personal iMessage for customers. Then Hub’s timeline is a lie. Team is the place the customer thread belongs when the office allows it.
They also skip photos because “we will remember.” The next quote is easier when the last job is still visible. See before photos and work authorization.
If you are training someone this week
Hand them Team, not Hub. Show Routes. Make them clock in once in front of you. Make them start a job and take one before photo.
The only sentence they are allowed to send the office is this one. I started the stop in Team. If they text a selfie of the van instead, they are not on the system yet.
How Team screens map to a truck morning
Home is next action and whether you are available. A map under the greeting is not decoration. It is the neighborhood you are about to work. Earnings on that card are a truth for the person who punches a clock, not a company P&L.
Routes is the day. Today, late, soon. Cards with Start job. Satellite or map on the stop so you know which driveway. Forms count on the day so the clipboard is not a surprise at the door.
Projects is the longer memory. Hours already logged on houses you still owe. Filters for active and completed. Search when a customer calls about a job from last month and you are in another driveway.
Chat is crew. Channels. Job threads. Unread badges. Contacts. Company line calling when allowed. The customer does not live here unless the office turned on that door.
A week for a new hire
Monday they install Team, Face ID, widget. Tuesday they clock in from the lot in front of you. Wednesday they complete a form and a photo gate without texting you. Thursday they use Chat instead of a personal group. Friday they open payslip and see hours that match the week they actually worked.
If any day still needs a screenshot of the van dash, Team is not installed in their habits yet. Install the habit, not only the IPA.
What Team refuses to be
Team will not show the owner’s entire receivables all day. That anxiety does not help a helper carry a hose. Team will not replace Hub for quoting a commercial account. Team will not silently start a room scan in a hallway. Start and stop are buttons on purpose.
What a helper sees versus a lead
A helper should see today’s Routes, Start job, photos, forms, clock. A lead might also get Chat, assign, reschedule, company line. Permissions are the fence. If everyone has every button, you did not hire a crew. You hired a committee.
Home’s available state and earnings card are for the person whose pay depends on the day. Do not mock that screen. It is how a good tech stays.
Industry stops
Window cleaning: two houses, satellite on the card, Start job, checklist for panes and screens. Lawn: a fist of yards, clock from the widget, no cousin across town unless the price moved. HVAC: membership versus no cool must look different on the card so the van has the right tank.
If the card cannot tell those stories, the office did not tag the job in Hub. Team cannot invent a tag the record lacks.
Face ID and shared phones
Face ID is how a borrowed iPhone does not become a stolen shop. Each tech, each login. A shared “crew phone” in the cup holder is how you lose photos, punches, and eventually customers.
If a phone dies, Hub still has the job. Issue a new Team login. Do not reconstruct the week from texts.
Chat without customers
Crew chat is for “gate code is 4411” and “bring the extra hose.” It is not for quoting. Quotes live in Hub. If a tech quotes in Chat, you will pay for that number later. Train the sentence: I will have the office send options.
Contacts in Chat exist so you can find a person. They do not exist so you can harvest numbers into personal recents.
Voice on the job
Speech-to-text on a stop is how a tech with gloves still leaves a note. “Replaced supply, left old parts, spouse wants the better valve next visit.” That note should hit the job, not a voice memo titled Recording 47.
The App Store listing is the install path
Do not sideload. Do not email IPAs. Send the Team URL. TestFlight is for you. Production techs get the store. That is how updates arrive without you driving around with cables.
What a tech actually taps in the first ten minutes
Install from https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sqyre-team/id6786840508. Face ID. Add the clock widget. Open Routes. Confirm today’s stops before the van moves. Clock in. That is onboarding. Anything else is a meeting.
Home is next action and whether you are available. A map under the greeting is the neighborhood, not a wallpaper. Earnings on that card are for the person who punches a clock. Do not hide that because it feels informal. Good techs stay when Friday is a document.
Routes is the day. Today, late, soon. Cards with a map, a name, a street, Start job. Forms count on the day so the clipboard is not a surprise at the door. Satellite on the stop when the driveway is the question.
Projects is the longer memory. Hours already logged. Filters for all, active, completed. Search when a customer calls about last month while you are in another driveway.
Chat is crew. Channels. Job threads. Unread badges. Contacts. Company line calling when the office allows it. Customers do not live here unless you turned that door on.
Profile is payslips and timesheets in the shop currency and time zone. A tech who lives across a state line should not see the owner’s kitchen clock.
Helper versus lead, in buttons
A helper: Routes, Start job, photos, forms, clock. A lead: those plus Chat, assign, reschedule, company line if you said so. Change a permission in the office. The button should vanish the same hour. If it does not, that is a bug. If you never change it, that is a policy problem.
Paused jobs come off the open list. A paused job that still shouts from Home is how a helper starts the wrong house.
Industry cards that must look different
Window cleaning: two houses, satellite, Start job, checklist for panes and screens. Lawn: a fist of yards, clock from the widget, no cousin across town unless the price moved. HVAC: membership versus no cool must look different so the van has the right tank. Plumbing: diagnosis versus tank swap. Electrical: panel versus a fixture. Roofing: tear-off versus a leak. Restoration: water versus pack-out.
If the card cannot tell those stories, the office did not tag the job in Hub. Team cannot invent a tag the record lacks.
Shared phones are how you lose a week
Face ID is how a borrowed iPhone does not become a stolen shop. Each tech, each login. A “crew phone” in the cup holder is how you lose photos, punches, and eventually customers.
If a phone dies, Hub still has the job. Issue a new Team login. Do not reconstruct the week from texts.
Do not sideload. Do not email IPAs. TestFlight is for you. Production techs get the store so updates arrive without cables.
Speech on a stop
Gloves on. “Replaced supply, left old parts, spouse wants the better valve next visit.” That sentence belongs on the job, not in a voice memo titled Recording 47. Speech-to-text on the stop is how a tech still leaves a note.
What Team will refuse to be
Team will not show the owner’s entire receivables all day. That anxiety does not help a helper carry a hose. Team will not replace Hub for quoting a commercial account. Team will not silently start a room scan in a hallway. Start and stop are buttons on purpose.
A 14-day crew drill
Day 1: install, Face ID, widget. Day 2: clock in from the lot in front of you. Day 3: complete a form and a photo gate without texting you. Day 4: Chat instead of a personal group. Day 5: payslip matches the week. Days 6-14: one live stop a day all the way to clock-out.
If any day still needs a screenshot of the van dash, Team is not installed in their habits yet.

The numbers on one job
A missed quote on the owner phone is not a small miss. It is a house that hired the shop that answered. Hub and Team exist so the yes, the clock, and the photo happen on the stop, not tonight on the couch.
